Scottish Premiership: Aberdeen face Motherwell on final day


Aberdeen will face Motherwell in a potential second-place decider on the final day of the Scottish Premiership season.

The top flight's post-split fixtures have been announced, with St Mirren hosting Partick Thistle in a crucial bottom-six match on 25 April.

A final Edinburgh derby of the season will be on 27 April.
There will be one round of midweek fixtures after the league splits in two after this weekend.

Dates revealed for season 2014/15 SPFL kick off


The next Scottish league season will kick off on 9 August - the weekend after the Commonwealth Games finish.

All four divisions in the Scottish Professional Football League will start on the same date, but there will be cup action during Glasgow 2014.

The first round of the Challenge Cup will be played on the last week of July, with the League Cup opening on 2-3 August.

Three Celtic players make PFA player of year shortlist

Three Celtic players have been shortlisted for the PFA Scotland Premiership player of the year award.
Fraser Forster, Virgil van Dijk and Kris Commons are contenders, along with Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd.
Dundee United dominate the young player category, with Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Gauld and Andrew Robertson nominated with St Johnstone striker Stevie May.

Na ja das war so schlimm nicht, und hier geht es ja auch um die sektiererischen Gesänge, den hohen Polizeieinsatz für ein U17- Spiel, die rausgerissenen Sitze etc, und es ist ja auch nicht das erste Mal ;)

Also warum die Aufregung? Ist doch alles kalter Kaffee.

Glasgow Cup zur Abendzeit, geringe Eintrittspreise... Aber hey....lets get offended. :p

The SPFL have struck a television deal for the Premiership play-off matches, with both legs to be broadcast live. (Daily Express) :)

Ah, was für ein aberwitziges "organisers had to pick up the 100k bill...." - Die 20-30.000 die Karten für den Celtic Park gekauft haben sorgen trotzdem für einen dicken Profit der GFA.
