Power Rankings: Consistent Iain Vigurs climbs to the top of the table

Ross County are obviously the in-form team of the division, having gone from bothering 11th place to European contention in a matter of weeks.

The victory over Celtic was the latest in their three month unbeaten run; a series of games typified by the most consistent competitor in our Power Rankings. A man who is now top.

Elsewhere, there weren't many goals to be found, so those who did feed on the scraps were rewarded by large leaps up the rankings. None more so than members of the Dundee squad, who have taken five points from three games.

The other big news was the arrival of Dylan McGeouch into the Top Ten. The 20-year-old has managed two assists and a goal in the last five matches.

SFL clubs asked to consider 'colt teams' from Celtic and Rangers

Scottish Football League clubs are being asked to consider allowing 'colt teams' from Celtic and Rangers to join a new four division set-up.
Chief executive David Longmuir suggests in a document sent to all 30 SFL outfits that the colts would operate separately from the 'parent' clubs.
He is influenced by the prospect of the Old Firm leaving Scotland behind.
And he says "both clubs have intimated their desire to be considered as part of this strategy".

Idea to merge big clubs

A former chief executive is calling to merge a number of teams into ‘superclubs’ in order to save the Scottish game.

Ex-Aberdeen CE Dave Cormack says bringing teams together under one banner would help them compete at a higher level and make better use of resources.

His idea includes a plan to merge Dundee, United, Arbroath, Brechin, and Montrose into Tayside United - Raith, Dunfermline, and Cowdenbeath becoming a Fife superclub - and a new “Club Ecosse” created in Glasgow to compete with Rangers and Celtic.

“Would some of the bigger clubs dare to merge? To garner support and maximise affinity Club Ecosse could play home games across Scotland, renting Murrayfield, Hampden, and Pittodrie”, Cormack. (Daily Record)

Raith, Dunfermline und Cowden zu einer Mannschaft....warum nicht gleich noch Celtic, Partick und Queen's Park? :p

Mit der Reform zur nächsten Saison wird es wohl nichts mehr... bei einer womöglichen Abstimmung wären St. Mirren und Ross County dagegen, der Rest hat sich noch nicht klar geäußert. Man bräuchte aber 11 von 12 Ja- Stimmen

und uns schickte man in die 4.Liga und bei Dunfermline passiert nix?? Jetzt sollte jeder erkennen wie korrupt der Schottische Fussballverband ist.

Administration ist ungleich Liquidation.

Für die Liquidation waren RFC's Steuerschulden verantwortlich, d.h. Henker war letztlich HMRC, denn die haben der CVA das Veto erteilt.

Die Ablehnung der NewCo in SPL & FD haben die Klubs durchgewunken.

Wo genau hat der schottische Fußballverband eingegriffen?
Er hat sich fast konstant rausgehalten.

Der Veband hat dahin eingegriffen indem er die Fans abstimmen ließ und jegliche Verantwortung von sich wies aber dass willst Du ja nicht begreifen. Es bringt auch nichts mit Dir noch weiter über irgendwas zu diskutieren bzw zu schreiben. Dass einzige wo ich Dir Recht gebe ist dass die Fronten zwischen Dir und mir bzw unseren Clubs verhärtet sind.

Wir ziehen die Option bei Griffiths. Somit würde er definitiv Ablöse kosten. Ob wir ihn halten werden, kann ich jetzt noch nicht sagen. Ich glaube es allerdings nicht.
